The San Fernando Valley Chapter of APICS is proud to present our upcoming plant tour of Amazon's Fulfillment Center in San Bernardino. We’re looking forward to seeing you on August 21st at 4:00 p.m. The address of the San Bernardino site is 1910 E. Central Avenue. Your tour will begin promptly at 4:00 p.m. 

Amazon Fulfillment Center Tour Information

The tour will showcase some of the 280 major software improvements that send products to a home after a customer clicks “buy.” The million-square-foot distribution center at 1910 E. Central Ave. in San Bernardino, on the site of the former Norton Air Force Base, employs more than 1,400 Amazon Fulfillment Warehouse employees. 

Amazon has been making headlines over the implementation of robot technology in the supply chain; come and see what all the buzz is about. 

For the 4:00pm tour there is no group transportation 

• Please arrive at Amazon by 3:45pm for the 4:00pm tour:
• You’re our VIP so we’ll have reserved parking spots at Amazon for you at the front of our building near the main entrance. Please be sure to park in your reserved spot!

Here are some guidelines to help create the best possible experience:

· Cost is $45 per attendee. 

· Please contact APICS at [email protected] if you have any special requests or need any special accessibility accommodations. You should also notify that email address if you need to cancel or reschedule your tour. We’re here to help!

· Please arrive 15 minutes prior to our tour time.

· Please arrive early enough to use the restrooms prior to the start of the tour. There will be no be restroom breaks during the tour of the fulfillment center.

· You may bring your keys, your wallet and your cellphone on the tour. Please leave all other personal items at home or in your car, including bags, purses, briefcases, backpacks, pocketbooks, and binoculars. Amazon is a weapon-free workplace; we reserve the right to turn away a guest if they are unwilling to tour without a weapon.

· No cameras or other video equipment are allowed on the tour, although you may bring your cellphone so long as you do not use it to take pictures or videos.

· No food or drink is permitted on the tour and all participants must be free from the influence of alcohol or drugs during the tour.

· IMPORTANT: All guests must wear flat, closed-toe and closed-heel shoes (No sandals or high heels). We recommend wearing comfortable shoes/sneakers.

· Please stay with your tour guide, remain within the designated walkways or areas, refrain from touching any equipment or machinery, and follow the instructions of the tour guide at all times.
