SFV Strategic Management of Resources

CPIM class - 10 weeks on Wednesday from 7/09/2014 through 9/10/2014.  Instructor: Jim Strong, Master CPIM Instructor.  This capstone course for production and inventory management personnel is the last of five modules for those pursuing the APICS CPIM (Certified in Production & Inventory Management) certification. In this course, participants explore the relationship between strategic planning and the management and execution of operations. The course fosters high level thinking about how market requirements and social and economic sustainability concerns drive operations, processes, and resource requirements of the firm. The course addresses three main topics: understanding the business environment, developing the operations strategy, and implementing the operations strategy.
