Are you serious about becoming Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD)?

San Fernando Valley Chapter of ASCM is offering a new way to get certified, in shorter time and with a more complete package than what our college partner can offer.

Our instructor, Mike Letson, CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, will be leading an Instructor Guided Study Group for CLTD.  We need 2 students for this option to fly.  Here are the details:

Virtual class sessions will be on Tuesdays, starting August 10^th for 2 hours per night (6-8 p.m. Pacific time) for 8 weeks.

Class materials will include the CLTD Learning System, a voucher to take the CLTD exam and a free retake of the exam in case you don't pass on your first try.  Our college class materials only consisted of the APICS CLTD Learning System and on-line access, but NO exams or retakes.  List price of the CLTD exam is up to $1195 if you are not an ASCM PLUS member. Exam retakes are valued at up to $425.

Some pro's of this Instructor Guided Study Group:

1. Price will include all Learning System materials, exam, free retake & ASCM membership. Chapter discounts for materials and exams have been utilized to save you money over the standard ASCM prices.
2. Class size will be smaller, so it will be a more personal class.
3. Students will be expected to do much of the work outside of the class time.  Class time will be used for discussions on the concepts and for student questions, not for lecture.
4. Shorter time to get ready to take the CLTD Exam and become certified! 
5. Less amount of time in class per week but probably a little more time required out of class per week.
6. ASCM PLUS membership will be included if you are not already a member.

Cost: Cost will be $2000/student. Current ASCM members will have their membership extended for 1 year. You will have 9 months to take the exam with additional time to retake the exam, if necessary.
