CPIM class - 10 weeks on Wednesday from 4/09/2014 through 6/11/2014. Instructor: Jim Strong, Master CPIM Instructor.
The Execution and Control of Operatons course addresses standard principles and practices for scheduling, authorizing, controlling, and measuring workload in a wide range of manufacturing environments (including: job shop, batch production, line-flow, process manufacturing, and re-manufacturing). It also addresses Lean Manufacturing principles and practices, i.e. the elimination of waste, and implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives. Broad topics covered in the module are:
- Prioritization and sequencing of work.
- Execution of work plans and implementation of physical controls.
- Performance reporting and feedback.
Cost: The student enrollment fees for classes will be $288 for ETP qualified students and companies and an additional $150 for books and materials. Enrollment fees include the Execution and Control of Operations Participant Workbook.
