1. Prepare Session 5 for our July 27 meeting.  We'll wrap up Session 4 and move on to Session 5.  Bring both books.

2. Do some advance reading on Session 8 Case Studies.   Class will be broken into teams of two with one team having     3 members.  We will assign which case study each team will prepare to present during the last sessions.

June 29, 2017

1. Download the PerformanceCheckECOanswersheet and complete Vocabulary Check and Performance Check questions using the Excel file; save and rename the file with your name ie, ECO_charliebrown.xls;  email to InstructorCPIIM@gmail.com by close of business Monday before the next class.

2. Complete Round 2 on page 1-35 of your participant guide.  Let me know by email before June 29 what is the lowest level to which WIP and Finished Goods inventory can be reduced and still achieve 100 per cent customer service?

3. We will complete Session 2 and start on Session 3 at our June 29th meeting.

Assignments for 2nd meeting
1. Each participant will make a 2 minute presentation on the assigned company shown on the last column of the matrix below.  Focus on any aspect of the company that you feel is most important to share.

2. Activate your CPIM OnLine Tool [Class Code = 9201] and complete the Pre-Assessment. If your Internet Explorer version is lower than 9.0, if possible, use a different browser.  Email a print screen that shows you have completed the Pre-Assessment.  Do not be concerned with your % rating, this is just a pre-assessment that you can use as a benchmark.  Click in Instructions.

3. We will finish Session 1 and may start on Session 2.  Read up and bring only the first of the two books to class.
